Culture
Ipca strives to find new ways to recruit and train and retain good employees. The endeavor of Ipca's Human Resource Department (HR) is to constantly maintain the workplace vibrant and exciting. The work and social activities are interwoven to foster the bonds among members
as one family through the activities like Ipca Utsav, Cricket Tournaments,
celebrations of festivals, Nature Trek, etc. Programmes
like Sambandh, Open House session and departmental meetings have improved interaction at the workplace.
The talent at both workplace and at the cultural front is identified and opportunities for its expression are provided. The compensation package at all levels is designed to have flexibility that matches the best talents in the industry and also supports retention of key talents.
Ipca’s Human Resource Department aims at training people well, keeping them informed of changes and development and involving them to be a part of the decision making process. Training is an integral part of HR sub-systems and attention is placed on overall development of the individual as well as the organization through a balanced intervention in the areas of skills, behaviour, process and managerial development. Specific programs have been designed for employees at supervisory and worker’s levels in addition to the management development programmes for Middle and Senior Management.
A Management Trainee Orientation programme has been evolved for new entrants from Campus/Institutes. The management trainees are put through an elaborate training for a period of one year and are provided with mentors who work with them closely as a Friend, Philosopher and Guide to integrate them into the organizational culture and systems.
