09 August, 2004 : Four more APIs for USA

Ipca's API manufacturing facility at Ratlam (M.P.) was inspected by US-Food and Drug Administration (FDA) between 24th and 26th May, 2004 and the facility was found to be in compliance with global GMP requirement. The plant and the facilities have been recommended for manufacturing the following four APIs for USA :

1. Atenolol
2. Propranolol Hydrochloride
3. Hydroxychloroquine Sulphate
4. Chloroquine Phosphate

This is in addition to the following APIs, which have been earlier approved for manufacturing from the same facility:

1. Pyrantel Pamoate
2. Pyrantel Tartrate
3. Trimethoprim
4. Furosemide
